Design in a Day (DIAD); Condo; 2020

This home makeover was completed for a couple who had been renting in Singapore for a few years. Buoyed by more time at home because of the pandemic, they decided they needed a space that was more comfortable, and engaged us to set up a home they could both work and relax in.

Notes from our stylists

  • The clients had existing furniture that they wanted us to incorporate into the layout. We also developed the colour palette from these pieces.

  • We configured the layout of the outdoor balcony area for a seamless indoor/outdoor experience.

  • Accents of blue, brown, and cream were added to complement the existing furniture.

  • For a more polished look, artwork and accessories with gold accents were added. Mirrors also helped reflect more natural light from the balcony.
