Scotts Highpark

Magical Homes; Condo; 2021

After years of leasing their apartment to tenants, our clients were ready to get married and move into this space themselves. We were engaged to transform the home into a modern, hotel-inspired abode. The project took four weeks to complete.

Package scope

  • Styling areas included in the Magical Homes package: living room, master bedroom, and complementary styling for the powder room and dining area.

  • As the clients wanted a complete refresh of the space, we sourced for all key furniture pieces for their home.

  • We arranged furniture to zone the open-plan living area, creating a spacious communal seating area and a cosy dining space for the family.

  • As part of the Magical Homes package, a suite of décor was given to complete the look of the home. As the clients wanted a home that was luxe and elegant, we chose smaller pieces with reflective and metallic finishes to balance the larger, visually heavier furniture pieces. Textiles such as cushions and rugs were added to warm up the space.

Notes from our stylists

  • A palette of creams, blues, and greys was used throughout the home for a modern, sophisticated feel. Gold accents were used for a final polished feel

  • The clients also fell in love with the extensive art collection at Arete and ended up purchasing art panels and artwork for almost all the rooms in their home. Additionally, they topped up for certain services and items, including:

  • Sourcing and installing of wallpaper in all rooms

  • Window treatments in all rooms

  • Bespoke furniture from Arete Culture, including: the Scale Sideboard, Hugging and High Back Dining Chairs, and Susan Nesting Coffee Table.

  • Larger décor items such as rugs, lamps, and mirrors.
